Andrew Hancox is an expert Golf Professional who possesses an illustrious playing and coaching career. Andrew has competed for many years across the globe on numerous worldwide professional golf tours and has successfully coached a DP World Tour winner, along with many other top golfers from both the UK and overseas.

Andrew has a wealth of coaching knowledge and expertise having worked alongside a number of high-profile world-renowned coaches, along with teaching a wide range of world top-fifty professionals competing at the very highest level of the professional game.

In addition, Andrew has worked extensively as a worldwide coaching consultant most notably in conjunction with representatives and delegates from the Portuguese government and Portuguese Golf Federation, along with the French Golf Federation.

During this period, Andrew introduced a range of sophisticated coaching programmes and development pathways for talented golfers who aspired to reach the highest-level possible.

Andrew’s major strength lies in his unequalled desire to study the mechanics of the golf swing and evaluate the best possible way in which the various components can be taught. Drawing upon years of experience, Andrew skillfully improves the player in front of him as opposed to simply teaching a method. Without question, Andrew’s deep knowledge and understanding place him at the forefront of modern golf instruction and having worked with Andrew for many years I would highly recommend him.

Qualifications

Furthermore, Andrew possesses a postgraduate Masters degree in Teaching and Education and is therefore in a unique position to design highly specific coaching programmes that are personalised to accommodate the needs of the individual.

Although many golf coaches understand the mechanics of the golf swing, very few have the educational and pedagogical expertise required in order to design and implement personalised programmes, which cater for the needs of individual golfers, thus amalgamating the “art” and “science” of coaching.
